We will discuss basic safety protocols and tips for Sentencing Advocates, Mitigation Specialists and Investigators while working in the field. Topic material will cover:  What to do in preparation for the outing  How to travel to and from the location  How to handle concerns on the street and at the location Session Objectives 1. Participants will be able to identify safety concerns that could be improved upon. 2. Participants will have better understanding of safety awareness and protocols. 3. Participants will leave this session feeling more empowered and confident when working in the field.
